This has got to be the best scones i tasted. Soft on the inside, with a slight whiff of cinammon, elevating the taste. Even cold ones are good to eat, let alone freshly baked or heated, with or without the spreads. Heavenly. The ladyboss is exceptionally helpful and nice! Now i have a must go to whenever i am in Cameron Highlands.

My wife and I both really enjoyed the food and drinks at this restaurant/cafe. It is a bit off the main road but worth venturing over to. The lady who owns the shop is super friendly and helpful when deciding what to order. We ordered the espresso, fresh strawberry shake, homemade scone and masala chai. Everything was very tasty. We especially liked the homemade scones that came with fresh strawberry jam and the strawberry milkshake. One thing to note is that it is cash only and credit card is not accepted. Highly recommend trying this restaurant/cafe when in Tanah Rata.

Had Devonshire tea at Michael Sue & Co and it was great! The scones were super fresh and the homemade jam with cream was delicious. We enjoyed the jam so much we wanted to buy some, but they were out—so they actually offered to drop it off to us before we left the next day. Seriously amazing service. Definitely recommend!

They serve the best (based on my experience) authentic scones. We were quite lucky that we arrived around the time their scones came out of the oven. We get to experience their fresh scones. Most important was the hospitality offered, warm from the moment we stepped into the shop until we waved goodbyes. A must visit when in Cameron.

After trying out so many scones in all the rest of the areas around Cameron Highlands (including some of the cheapest to the most expensive sets), I've got to say, this little spot here has The Best Scones. Crisp and nicely baked on the outside, soft yet crumbly on the inside. Happy to say, these were baked to my kind of perfection. Scoop a generous portion of their clotted cream on to it with a dollop of their home made jam & you've got a winner in your hands (or mouth!) Absolutely love the taste and texture of the scones in this little place (none of that under cooked/baked dough like some places). Went back twice Infact, and the standards are well the same. For those who do not like it sweet, the salted butter helps to balance out the tastes. That said, the cafe is truly a small area, nestled inbetween a row of small business lots, with ventilation fans facing outward to the front of the shops. Curiously, there's no backdoor and there's no toilet to be had. Make sure to go to the loo before you visit this cafe. The only thing that makes it slightly unpleasant is when they cook up something, and the smell is just mostly lingering around the cafe. The ventilation fans help, but it's an odd design that syphon the smells out through the front (thus making us smell it all) and not through the back. If you sit there any longer, the smell will cling to your clothes. Do order a cup of Masala tea if you're a fan. It is brewed on the spot. We loved the spiciness & aroma of the chai, but of course, standard milk is used, so in terms of authenticity, it is not the top tier of Masala teas. Otherwise, the taste of the tea is light, tasty & lovely to go with the scones set. The way to the cafe is an easy walk of less than 15mins from the centre of Tanah Rata.

The strawberry jam was just right — not overly sweet like the usual ones. The scones were served warm, perfect with butter, cream, and the jam. Paired with apple tea, the set came with two scones. It was so good that our whole group ended up ordering plenty more!

The scones were so tasty and the hospitality service is outstanding. They were very attentive and friendly. Got some freshly baked scones as well and the strawberry jam is a winner as well. Would love to go again!!!
